Horsebackriding Laguna del Diamante

Available: From December 15th to March 30th

Duration: 5 days

A traverse to the heart of the Andes: from a traditional cattle ranch at the foot of the mountains to the breathtaking landscape of Laguna del Diamante, following muleteers' trails along valleys and mountain passes full of wildlife.

A five-day journey in the domain of guanacos (a relative of the llama), condors and the elusive pumas allows the trekker to discover ashtonishing views and to sleep under the stars. The trail leads to the natural reserve Laguna del Diamante, a turquoise lagoon where Maipo vulcano and its reflection in the waters form the image of a diamond.
