Aconcagua
Mount Aconcagua is the maximum height of the American Continent, and the highest mountain outside Asia. With 6962 meters, its massif stands above the neighboring peaks in the Central Andes of Mendoza, Argentina. Mt Aconcagua is one of the “seven summits”, the biggest mountains of each continent. |

We visit the Rio Diamante source, an archeological site dating from 1200 BC, and the place where the famous French aviator Henri Guillaumet had to land his Potez-25 plane, during a storm in the winter of 1930, and then survive in the mountains for six days. |
